ACER blank screen

I dropped my ACER laptop and now the screen is showing blank. I removed the battery pack and turned the power button on and off again and that changes nothing. The screen shows up white, blank. Processor is Athlon 64. Any advice?

Your lcd screen maybe damage due to impact i suggest you bring it to the computer shop for repair. most common damage are the screen and harddrive due to strong impact.

My HP elitebook 6930p blacklight is on but screen is blank

11 years old today this PC.
we have answered this same question here vast times.
ever search, sure nobody does, nor googles.
it's laptop, I have many like it.
first do the long reset ? did you off the HP.com site?
long power on reset.
remove AC pack.
hold power button for 10 -30 seconds,
the release the button.
put back AC pack now, both ends.
power on, fixed?
no.
next drop the huge battery off the bottom , the one that is 10 years old, is now shorted.
now AC pack reconnected both ends, PC runs now"
even text to the screen or the HP logo graphic is PC is not dead.

now when you turn it on the BIOS must work or the coin cell battery RTC battery tiny is dead. (under keyboard it is)
HP has nice service manual, unlike most makers.
Dell and HP haver the best books in the business.
(support books (docs) PDF's
RTC coin cell is 2.9vdc or higher, less is bad.
using any voltmeter ever made.(LV) we use a DDM for $20

page 73 = RTC COIN STEPS.

THE OTHER BAD NEWS:
is all 6930s have nasty CCFL back lamps
that are all dead now. (if used 8 hr/day ) every day.
some die at 5 years old not 11 like yours.
with the PC turned on and you think screens are there.
bios screen or windows login screen.
then do the flash light test. if data is there, now the CCFL tubes are dead (1 or 2 parts bad inside)

I have an acer laptop 5920, when I start the machine it goes on to a windows error recovery screen. When I enter launch startup repair, the screen goes blank then returns to display the same error screen.

try to shut down the laptop completely. Remove cables and battery into it. Then press and hold power button for 8 secs. Reinsert the cables and battery back then turn it on. Contact Acer if symptom persist

Hi. My acer aspire 5735 doesnt turn on. I turned the laptop off as normal however when i came to go back on it just wouldnt turn on. The charge light stays on to show whether the battery is being charged....

When a computer does not boot up, but the battery is charging, it could be a CPU or RAM problem.
Re-seat the RAM modules, this will make sure it makes proper connection to the motherboard.
Next try removing the battery and power up the laptop with just the power adapter connected. If it boots up then insert the battery while it is powered up.

Try upluging it, remove the battery, then press and hold the power button for 10 full slow seconds. Then wait 1 minute, put battery back in, plug back in and turn on.
It should now come on and work fine.

Blank screen acer 4400

remove battery, press and hold power button for 5 seconds, then put battery back in and start.
This usually works. If by slight chance it does not, check that the memory cards aren't loose or faulty.

Blank screen

do a power reset on the computer. turn off the computer. remove the battery pack and unplug the ac adapter. press and hold the power button for 10 secs without any power source to drain all excess power in the laptop. put in the battery first followed by the ac adapter. turn the computer.

i hope this helps.
