Hi

Sounds like the LCD screen is damaged or the cable was dislodged. Its hard to say if it's broken or not without seeing it myself.... Can you see the menus or nothing at all?

You can try unplugging the cable for the LCD and then plugging it back in, or see if you can get an LCD and install it yourself.

If you don't want to do the repair yourself I'm sure we can help you, we are an affordable digital camera repair business. Feel free to check our site for your model number and you will find your LCD. If you don't see it then let us know and we will add it if we can get it from our overseas supplier.

Good luck from Darntoothysam com

    Hi

If you can't see the screen, its broken or disconnected... simple as that. There is no other solution.

Couple of years ago I had the same problem. Panasonic service replaced me the LCD panel of it. After several months it has been dropped again, same failure again. I could not believe that the LCD went wrong again, so disassembled and noticed that the ribbon cable of the LCD had a contact failure. Could fix it myself. There were a couple of DIY videos on youtube...

Hello.

what this indicate is that the phone have develop a problem with it flex that connect the panel unit and the screen together.

What the phone need now to be able to carry out it function again is to replace the flex with a better one you can get the flex from any good phone work shop around your local area.

Thanks

I dropped my camera in water and i turned it on and it went fuzzy, npw it wont turn on at all and im worried, what should i do?

Water can do a lot of internal damage, and kill a camera, unfortunately. Very often, even if you get it serviced, they will have to replace most of the interior parts to get it functional again. You can take it apart, and try to clean it with alcohol and a soft cloth, and hope for the best. Other than that, it's probably going to be an expensive fix. Get an estimate first (high and low estimate) before having it serviced, since it's sometimes just to buy a new one.
Good luck, and hope this helps.

Fuzzy after being dropped any help?

You can call the Panasonic customer support at this telephone number 1-800-211-7262. Give them the brand name and model number of the palmcorder.Tell them the problem that you have with the palmcorder, that its has a fuzzy picture and the zoom function does not work. They might be able to help you get it repaired. You can also ask them if they have a service center in your area. If they do, call them and ask them if they give estimates of repairs. If they do you can take it in and see if it is worth repairing. I hope this information help you with your problem.

Camera

Hey jess99,
It sounds to me like you have damaged your LCD screen by dropping the camera. Even though you could have your camera looked at by an authorized service technician, with digital camera repairs it is often more expensive to fix the camera than to replace it.

Sincerely,
Allan

There is a fully comprehensive manual in PDF format on the CD. However this does seem to be a fault Canon Customer support will advise on the next course of action depending on the age of the camera
