When I purchased my condo a year ago, the dishwasher was not working. It is a Kenmore, Model #587 14139102, S/N TH32919370. Unfortunately the previous owners did not leave any manual behind.

The dishwasher is not connected, or plugged in. Recently, standing water is in the bottom of the dishwasher. Any ideas where the water is coming from and how to keep it away? Without a manual I am afraid to do anything.

hi this is the electric pump thats in your dishwasher. its probably seized up.remove and clean it just might be dirty thanks the appliance doc,
