How to Install or Update your Mozilla Firefox To Version 3.6

If you have a older version of Mozilla Firefox installed on your computer , or if your sill using MS Internet Explorer , getting the latest version of Firefox is easy as pie.

Pop over to Firefox download page and download the 3.6 version which is 8.8mb.

When your done downloading , simply run the setup.

If you use IE and are trying Firefox , do a full install.
If you have a previous version on your computer , select the upgrade option.

Either way , it will take about 2 min and you should be up and running.

Kind Regards

Hi, I use Firefox and for the last 3 months I get browser pages that freeze up, won't scroll up, down or sideways. The only thing I can access on the page it's what's technically in the browser window. ...

It has been a common problem. Same here. Download to Desktop latest version of Firefox. Go to Settings-Control Panel-Add/Remove Programs or Programs and Features. Depends on operating system you have. Open it and click on Mozilla Firefox and delete it completely. Restart windows and install latest version of Firefox. This should alleviate your problem. If not, Write back.

Before upgrading to Firefox 3.0.15 I was able to download and view anything from my download library which is extensive and of great use to me. Since the upgrade to 3.0.15 and later to 3.5.5, I can no...

Hi LeRoy, You certainly shouldn't be having this problem. I've been a proud Firefox user for a couple of years now, and have never had this problem. I have three possible solutions for ya. 1. I'm not too sure how well this one will work, but try clearing out all your cookies and history and whatnot. Maybe even run disk cleanup (if anything to at Least take care of your pc) 2. If that doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the browser. Reinstalling has gotten a good few people out of sticky situations, and with a little luck, it'll work for you too. 3. If that doesn't work either, try installing the latest beta. If absolutely none of the above work, try downgrading to an older version or use a different browser. (As a side note, Google Chrome is a nice lightweight lil browser. Good for quickly hoppin on the web.) Anywho, I hope this helps ya. Good luck :)

Your Firefox browser is probably still trying to use your Dial-up connection which doesn't exist any more. Set up your browser's Internet Connection again and it'll probably cure your problems!

I cannot connect to the internet through internet explorer and access anything to do with windows but i can get to the internet through firefox

1) Make sure its not the firewall by going to Control Panel --> Firewall Settings --> and shutting off the firewall, than try running Internet Explorer.

2) If you had to run Comcast's crappy software installation, then you have the same problem I did. The installation changed the LAN settings in your IE to use a comcast proxy server. Go to Tools --> Connections. At the bottom of the tab is a button to change the LAN settings. Unlick the proxy checkbox, and change it to Auto Detect Settings. That should do the trick.
