Open your gmail inbox. There on the upper left where the first message is listed is a box or icon that says "compose". Click that icon and a popup will appear to write your email message on. Just type the message, place the recipient address in the designated field and press send. Just that simple.

Trying to reach an email address that was returned

If you get an error when you email the address, the error will tell you why it was returned. The account may no longer exist, or the receiving server may block you due to your sending server's reputation or spam content. There are many other reasons why your email isn't delivered. Read the returned message for an explanation.

Outlook is sending multiple emails

Check your outbox and make sure the email you tried to send is no longer there because outlook tends to try and try sending a previously unsent email message.
Make sure the outbox is cleaned up.
In sending email with attachments, make sure the attachment is not too big that it exceeds 5mb to avoid these type of incidents, as a work around for multiple attachments you can try sending them in a different email message.

I keep getting the following when opening or sending mail: The message could not be sent. The setting for your outgoing email [SMTP] server might need to be configured. To find the server settings for...

Quick summary:
It appears that email address does not exist - which is why your email program was unable to send the message. There may be a small typographical error in the address - which you would need to correct in order to send the message successfully.

Background:
The error message you received says the "domain does not resolve". That means your outgoing server (which is used for sending messages) couldn't find the information about the recipient's address -- and more specifically, the "domain" of the recipient's address. (That's the portion of an email address following the "@" sign.)

The error message indicates the domain of the recipient's address is "quickfireprocuctions.com". But a quick check of domain registration records indicates there is no registered domain by that name. And if a domain is not registered, there can't be any websites or email addresses which use that domain name.

However, there is a properly registered domain "quickfireproductions.com" (with a "d" rather than a "c"). That seems much more likely - as the combination of recognizable words ("quick" "fire" "productions"). That domain is registered to owners in Florida, USA. See details at: http://whois.domaintools.com/quickfireproductions.com

Solution:
If that registered domain name sounds right, then you should revise the email address in your message to use the correct domain name (i.e., replacing the "c" with a "d").

When I go to send the photos, I get the message 'Could not connect to mail server. If offline, connect to internet and try again." I am connected to the internet and use Microsoft Internet Explorer. ...

You need to set your default email settings, so it knows what email client to use.
Google for your email clients settings.
I just use Internet explorer and hotmail, or chrome and gmail to send photos. These combinations enable you to send multiple photos, auto resized for you

Can recieve e mails, cannot send or reply to in-comming mail.all messages come up as failed delivery.no problem when first connected

1. Change the settings in your email software so that the email account you're using designates an Outgoing Email Service that your internet service provider won't block. Your internet service provider should provide you with the address of an acceptable Outgoing SMTP Mail Server. This information is often listed on their website; if it isn't, call their technical support and ask them the address of their Outgoing Email Server. Then go into your email software and change your current Outgoing SMTP Address to the one your ISP requires.
2. After you designate a SMTP address not restricted by your ISP, you may still receive the following error:
Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 530, Error Number: 0x800CCC78
Now you are reaching the Outgoing SMTP Mail Server, but it won't process your request without further authorization. You will need to go into your Email Software and find the setting that indicates that your Outgoing SMTP requires further authorization. Select this setting and enter the username and password required by your ISP (or reqired by who ever is the administrator of the Outgoing SMTP Mail Server that's not blocked by your ISP). For example, at the time this article was written MSN Internet Service's SMTP Address was: (secure.smtp.email.msn.com). However, this email server won't allow you to use it unless you send your MSN username and password along with your request to send email.

Can recieve but cannot send emails from outlook 2003

As a test, try temporarily disabling any anti-virus or firewall software you're using, then try again. If it goes through fine with AV/firewall disabled, there is probably a setting in your software that needs to be changed.
