Question about Emerson iTone iE600BK Shelf System
So I have the iTone and I managed to figure out how to set the alarm and everything. one problem: when it goes off in the morning, it goes off at volume 20. i like to wake up to my iPod and enjoy the music, but that loud just scares me awake.
Is it at all possible to turn down the volume on my iTone's alarm or do i just need to accept that the alarm system wasn't well figured out and won't work for me?

You will need to reset the Clock/Radio's microprocessor. To do this you must unplug the Clock/Radio and remove the internal battery (CR2430). Let the Clock/Radio set without any power source for at least 2 hours. Then put the internal battery back in the Clock/Radio and plug it in to the a/c outlet. Test to see if the Clock/Radio functions have returned to normal. If the function have not returned to normal, you will need to replace the internal battery. Then let the Clock/Radio again set with out power for a period of at least 2 hours. after a 2 hour period, put the new battery in the Clock/Radio and Plug it into the a/c outlet. Test the functions to see if the microprocessor has reset to normal operation. If you are still having a problem with the Clock/Radio's operations , you will have to give the Emerson customer support a call. The Telephone number for the Customer support is 1-800-898-9020. You can call them between the hours of 7am-5pm CT. Give them the make and model number of your Clock/Radio and ask them for assistance with your problem. I hope this information helps you fix the problem with the alarm in the Clock/Radio.

To increase the sound of the buzzer in the alarm you will need to exchange the internal battery for a new battery. The buzzer works on this battery power alone. The model of the battery (CR2430) and how to replace it are in the owners manual on pages 41-44. If this fix doe not solve the problem you are having with the weak buzzer. You can call the Emerson customer support at this telephone number 1-800-898-9020. Between the hours of 9am-5pm CT. Give them the make and model number of your Clock/Radio and ask them for assistance with your problem.
