Question about Frigidaire FWSB5700DS Top Load Washer
My washer won't spin any more.any help is appreciated. I have taken off the front cover, and nothing looks broke. Help
I'm having the same problem with a Frigidaire Crown Washer.
It is the start capacitor which is out on mine.
This is how I confirmed that:
Be careful with your fingers and turn on your washing machine, unplug it, and remove the belt from the motor. Plug the washing machine back in and turn it on. When it gets to a spin cycle, turn the washing machine motor by hand (WATCH YOUR FINGERS!!) and if it starts spinning on its own, then your motor is good and it is likely the start capacitor.
For further testing of the start capacitor, go here:
My start capacitor has a resistance of 1 ohms and never makes it all the way to 0 on my multi-meter when doing a resistance test.
