If this has an RF (Radio Frequency) module installed, it most likely means that it is capable of communicating with another wireless device such as a computer. It is an option in some models and it may not exist in yours.

Turn signals do not work, have replaced module, still do not work

Find a wiring diagram an get a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter an do some electrical testing . Videos on you tube on basic automotive electrical testing , how to read a wiring diagram . Then go http://bbbind.com/free_tsb.html free wiring diagrams . What component controls windows an door locks , I know what does , what to see what you think does . The speedometer not working is probably the step motor inside the instrument cluster . New instrument cluster ! Replace the turn signal switch.
The vehicle is equipped with power door locks. Each lock actuator is powered and controlled by the door module mounted in the individual door. The driver door module (DDM) is the master control for the door lock system but the rear integration module (RIM) contains the program that determines when the lock functions are permitted.
The vehicle is equipped with power windows controlled by the door modules. The DDM receives a window switch request, over the SBI serial data, from either the passenger door module wired to the window switch pressed or from the driver door switch assembly. The DDM checks the Class 2 serial data to see if the status information is correct (i.e. ignition switch position) to permit window operation.
If the status information to permit window operation is correct, the DDM sends the command to the door module controlling the window to move the window as requested.
Windows Power and Ground
The windows are powered by discreet power and ground circuits. These circuits are in the same dedicated connector as the window motor drive circuits.
These systems are very complex and are able to set DTC'S in the controlling module .Your best bet is to take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop .

DTC'S are intended to point the qualified technician in the correct diagnostic path. You may have a communication or network problem . Are you familiar with class two serial data bus communication network . The simple bus provides a means for information exchange among the vehicle door modules. Door module information on inputs and commanded outputs are converted to serial bus interface data for exchange among the door modules. The DDM can also take information from modules connected to the class 2 serial data circuit and relay the command to the simple bus interface. The vehicle power mode message (ignition switch position) from the DIM is an example. The DDM periodically addresses each module on the simple bus interface. When a module does not respond to the DDM, the DTC for that module is set. You can't just replace these modules , some need to be programmed . Dealer only ! What does RF out mean and spdif mean. Plz

RF out means Radio Frequency output. That will send out video and usually audio to a compatible device like a TV. For example connecting a VCR or older games console was done with the RF out on the VCR or console sending the picture and sound to the TV.
S/PDIF is a Sony /Philips Digital Interface Format.
It is a means of sending sound from one device to another. For example from a Blu-Ray player to a surround sound system. This is usually done with a Toslink lead that uses light to send the information but apparently it can use RCA leads, I've never seen that.

It means that there are four ISDN BRI S/T interfaces on the device. Each BRI line contains two phone numbers at 64Kbps of bandwidth each so the Quad BRI would supply 128Kbps x 4 or 512Kbps of bandwidth.

A very common problem for a Philips projection TV. You will most likely need to have the convergence board reworked. This convergence board is also know as the small signal module. You will see it as the board with all the RCA jacks and RF connectors! Thanks for asking and show all hands of support.

Screen is foggy and out of focus,blurry..

You may have one of two possible problems here. First..you may have a contaminated tube. This means one of the projection tubes may have fluid that has become cloudy and must be replaced with clean fluid. This would take a bit of patience to do so. It is not easy. The second problem may be that the small signal module may need replaced. Do not confuse this board with the small signal board, which is a tiny board that sits on top of the signal board and easily snaps in and out. You want to repair or replace the signalboard that is located on the floor next to the power supply board [has the flyback on it]. It is the board that contains all the RCA jacks and RF connections, that you are concerned about. Please check the first answer. You will have to disassemble a bit to look inside the projection tubes as they are lit. Thanks for asking!

Does the coaxial output equivalent to a standard yellow cord video cord? Trying to transmit Direct TV signal to another TV via a RF Link.

Typically the coax is an rf signal. The "yellow cord " is a video signal and never the twain shall meet without an rf modulator. rf contains all video, audio, and sync signal. Video contains just video, no audio. If you use the yellow, and the white and the red you will have video and both audio channels.

Working principle of super heterodying receiver

you can find it easy with google, but here is how it works...the incomeing rf signal is mixed with a signal of another frequency from the local oscillator and then passes through a non linear device (semiconductor). after passing through the nonlinear device the output will contain the original frequency, the local oscillator frequency, and frequencies equal to those added together and subtracted from each other, these signals are then passed through filters to obtain only one which will be either the rf frequency plus the local oscillator frequency or the rf frequency minus the local oscillator frequency. This new frequency is then coupled to the intermediate frequency amplifier stages where most of the amplification takes place before the audio is removed and passed to the audio stages.

Rear Projection and PlayStation 2

Hi, If your PS2 has an RF module, it is possible that the PlayStation 2's RF unit is interfering with your reception. Even if you are using the Audio/Video OUTput of the PS2, the RF module is also working and throwing out an output to either Chs 3 or 4. By switching off the PS2, the RF module would likewise be off. If by switching off the PS2 does not solve the problem, it is also possible that the Video input board of your TV has been slightly damaged. I doubt if it is a major repair and offhand would probably involved minor components or simply re-soldering. Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back how things turn up or should you need further information.
