Internal speaker probem

All the sounds coming out my internal speaker are real high pitched. they sound like alvin and the chimpmunks. the same with headphone or external speaker

Sound slike onbord sound took a **** or driver failed go to makers website eneter in your model then driver downloads are ok dl new sound driver test that 1st if no go buy new pcmia card sound blaster makes and get hi end 24 bit sound way better

its a pure Hareware issue.
get this fixed.

it has got tiny parts and crisp cables.

No sound from built in speakers but headphones work


Have you checked the speaker settings? Make sure that all settings are NOT muted. One selection that is muted maybe where the sound is generated from. Such as MIDI playback. Otherwise it has to be either a missing update/driver or damaged speakers.

Internal speaker only beeps no real sound will come out.


just install the audio driver on your driver disk that comes with your laptop...Hope this works! ITTech7574

High Pitch noise from my B130


Sounds like a hardware problem, but it could be software.

What happens when you mute the volume?

Does it sound like its coming out of the speakers or somewhere else?

Sound comes and goes


it sounds like your sound card has a short in it or it could be a driver issue try updating the driver if that dont help e-mail me at mriver7432@aol.com and i will help you test to see if your sound card needs replaced it sounds like that might need to be done if your speakers and your headphone ports our giving bad sound relay

Sound/ speaker problem


hi i also have an acer 6920 but my problem is that everytime the laptop display screen is not on the brightest (high performance) it makes a really annoying sound. But when i plug it in or have the brightness on high, the sound goes away. Please help me!

Hi, this might me a problem of the sound driver. just uninstall the present sound driver and reload the new driver. then check the sound is comming properly
