Question about Protech Systems FasNSeal FSWMKE4 4" Vent Kit for Wall Mounted Boilers & Wat
Hot water is ok but the c/h wont come on
The pump default light is on and it won't heat the floor or the tap water but you can hear the pump running. I checked the incoming filter or screen and on the right hand side of the pump there is a yellow handled valve for a little drain. While the pump is running I opened the valve and nothing comes out. Is the pump shot or what can I try next.

Diaphragm is punctured in 3 way valve. replace small one on top of valve. about 7 pounds from plumbing supply centre. Diaphragm on DHW side ok if water still running hot. I would however replace both, as if one has filed the other maybe about due for a change also.

The diaphragm has a hole in it. This is the small one on top of the 3 way valve. If you have Hot water the larger diaphragm at the front of the valve will be ok. The diaphragms are in the cases behind the micro switches (On the Brass unit on LH side is you look into the boiler) . You need to close taps under boiler and drain primary circuit, and the when pressure gauge at zero you can remove the thin metal sensing pipes that are located into the 3 way valve. The parts will cost approx 8 pounds each from somewhere like PTS (check Google - Plumbing trade Supplies) Regards
