Intel has no plans to develop a Windows 7 driver for your older, discontinued motherboard.

You may wish to use the latest operating system that IS supported to continue using your D865GBF board.

Power cut problem

Hi,

Based on your description, it is highly probable that you have something loose in the motherboard connections. Foremost to check would be:
  • the video card (if an add-on);
  • memory sticks;
  • any other add-on cards;
  • the board screws;
  • the back of the board (might be nearly touching the backing plate).
If on the other hand, you are referring to "plug off-on my crt monitor" to the power cord of the monitor to the back of the PSU, then have your PSU checked or replaced.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

if your motherboard does not give beep and display; remove your processor and ram and try working processor and ram on your motherboard, should there be no beep and display, your motherboard is dead.
