Paper comes out in horizontal folds. Red lite stuck on. Paper stuck on roller.
I 've already paid two times $14.99. I thought problem was fixed but I was wrong. Now another paper is stuck under the red roller. And the red "Paper" light is on continually. Last time we cleared the stuck paper and green lite went on. I thought it was fixed but then I tried to print & the copy came out folded as before. The next paper after that got stuck under the red roller.

The others had good solutions but I thought I would add mine as well. I put vegetable oil on both outer edges of a folded paper towel that fits the entire width in the narrower roller settings of the machine. I run it through 3-4 times as if it were a piece of dough. It takes away the squeaking.....at least until it is needed again.
"Z FOLD" of jamed paper is usual when paper goes from cass. towards registration roller, and registration clutch doesnt operates.
Do you have problems with A4 double sided too?
Where does the jam occures? In wich section?
I had few cases, when the paper stucked above fixing unit in small inner door, wich guides paperout or back in duplex, for second side copying. The problem was in spring and solenoid wich lifts the paper guide plastic with finger.
It also could be case that you need to replace paper pickup, feed and separation roller in cassete where is A3 paper, and clean other rollers.
Try to put paper in "good" cassete, from wich you do not have problems.Just swap papers, and set correct paper sizes, and if it works then the problem is 70% in rollers.
On the place where the paper stucks, clean the paper rollers, by rotating it and cleaning with alcohol or water and dry it verry well.
Hope that helped.

I have found that with laser printers that have an occasional "crinkle" problem that "fanning" the paper does alleviate the problem ... but it will not if there is an actual feed/hardware problem with the rollers
You do have a fuser problem. There are a set of stripper fingers that are supposed to keep the paper from wrapping around the heat roller. One of them may be damaged and is catching the paper. The Pressure roller can also cause problems if it is torn. You need to have the fuser looked at by a tecnician to determine the problem. Hope this helps.
Im not familiar with a paper folder but if its anything like a printer, it probably has a maintenance kit you can buy or you may have to replace the rollers. Alot of the times they have a rubber grabber that wears out or a roller that gets dirty and doesnt catch the paper evenly and pulls it through at an angle, crinkling it. Check for debree or paper particles that may be floating around inside.
If it?s always in the same spot then you can narrow your search for the problem.
-Look where the leading edge of the paper is getting jammed up for an obstruction, especially if the paper is folded in an accordion fashion. Look closely, I?ve fixed many a paper jam by pulling out a corner of a page stuck in a recess.
-If the paper path is clear then the next thing I would suspect is the paper you are using.
-Try new paper that isn?t bowed, folded or curled. Before inserting into the paper try flex it back and forth along the width and length, then insert making sure to slide the two side guides and the back guide until they fit snugly against the stack of paper.
-Other things to check are the rollers where the leading edge of the paper is getting stuck. Make sure they are clean.
-Also make sure your toner cartridge is inserted into the printer correctly. If you have a spare try using that, sometimes cartridges can drag on the paper.
