The Dyson site has a help section where you can read how to take the unit apart to unblock it. Maybe your solution can be found there.

Hard to tell since you didn't say what the part is.

Belt was broken, so I had to go inside the motor assembly -- torx screws all the way. The problem is finding a replacement belt without buying a whole new power drive.

Beater bar on my Dyson DC07 is not moving. How can it be repaired?

Hi there,
This is not an easy question to answer in text form. I have made a video to show you how tostrip apart the brush and clutch section of your Dyson DC07 Vacuum. Have a look at the video and see if you need a repairer or if it is something you can do yourself.
If you find you need parts then have a look at Nelson Vacuums or VacuumSpot
If you find this information useful or the video helpful please take a quick moment to give me a thumbs up or leave a comment or testimonial. I really love to hear that these videos go to good use.
Happy Vacuuming :)

Hiya... I would follow the suggestions you have been given already.. it is a bad idea to wash it..

1..You are not guaranteed to get all the dirt from the places you cant reach.

2. If you get it it wet chances are it will cake on even worse in the places you cant reach.

3. If it,s not too bad .. would use a blower to not only blow through .. but another hoover to **** out, the loose debris as you're going .. and use a long thin stiff brush etc... and no. I would suggest you dont do it in the

4. If its so bad that the cone is not serviceable.. can get a replacement UK price for around£30.. or direct from dyson!

Normally some Dyson parts can be a bit tricky to take apart, and damage will occur!

Hope its useful!

Regards Faggly
