Question about Computers & Internet

Cannot uninstall game downloaded from internet

Downloaded Pool Sharks from the internet & want to uninstall it, but Windows Installer is telling me that the system administrator has set politics to prevent installation & I do not have sufficient access to uninstall Pool Sharks & to contact my system administrator.

Was advised to start up computer in safe mode, chose administrator as my user & uninstall then. Tried this but am then being advised that windows installer is not available in safe mode & that the windows installer could not be accessed & that this can occur if the windows installer is not correctly installed & to contact support personnel for assistance.

Can you help please?

Reboot the computer

and once windows logo shows-up, keep pressing the F8 key on the keyboard. that will give you a normal computer start with the Administrator log in as one of the option

go to control panel - then user accounts - locate "change the way users log on or log off" and click it - uncheck "Use teh Welcome Screen" - reboot.

you should get a username / password box - type in Administrator and leave blank the password field (or type-in a password if you have one)

Hpsf has stopped working

Try the following.

Download the latest version of HP Support Assistant from the page on the link below - the download links are towards the bottom of the page - and save the installer to your Downloads folder.

Next, if you don't have an extraction utility installed, download and install 7-Zip. Please note, if you have a 64bit installation, download and install the .msi 64-bit x64 installer on the link below.

Next, right click the HPSA installer you download earlier, select 7-Zip, select extract files and then click Ok. Open the newly extracted folder, right click on UninstallHPSA and select 'Run as Administrator' - you may well see no progress of this attempted uninstallation, so leave the notebook to idle for a good 10 minutes before restarting it.

When windows has reloaded, open your Downloads folder and delete the 'extracted HPSA folder' so you are just left with the original installer you downloaded. Right click the installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation and when this has completed, restart the notebook.

I have downloaded internet explorer10, but the program continuesly reports inability to display webpage...what can I do?

There is no such thing as IE10, not even IE9 is released yet. You downloaded a virus or something worse. Try to uninstall it or, much better, reinstall Windows completely.

I need to reinstall itunes. Please tell me how to do it. For some reson I lost it. When I click on the i tunes icon, it says to reinstall. Thank You,

You need to redownload the iTunes. to do that, go to and search for itunes, click on itunes and it will open another page, on the right side you will see there download. just click on it and it will download to your computer. Remember the location where you will save the installer, coz you're gonna be using it.

open the iTunes installer from the folder where you saved it. just run it and follow the steps to instal. basically you will just click next and next to install it. it's simple to install

hope that helps. please let me know if you will have a hard time installing it.

I have a toshiba satellite l305-s5933 laptop. I was installing drivers, because I needed to reinstall windows. I downloaded a bios update, and now its not working at all. Is there any way to restore the...

Yes, but you will have to either ask toshiba for a replacement Bios chip or search the internet for a Bios chip provider. Your problem is that the Bios has either not be allowed to finish installing or that the download update was corrupt. You will need to tell the vendor of a new chip the serial number of your motherboard, so have that on hand, to find the number you will probably have to lift the keyboard to see the number on the motherboard (See you handbook for how to do that). When you have your new chip you must carefully remove the old one and replace with the new one, avoid static and be careful. If you cannot do this then the best answer is to take your Toshiba to a dealer. Note: if a new chip is available it should not cost more than about €20 , so be careful of sharks!

Why keyboard gets stuck on HP notebook while using e-mail

Dear Sir,
From what i understand you have an issue with the keyboard malfunctioning in your email or internet browser....The keyboard mistypes or skips an alphabet or sometimes types one alphabet a couple of times in your email or internet browser... Please check which internet browser you are using if it is Internet Explorer 8 then please uninstall it...We can uninstall the Internet Explorer 8 in 2 Ways...The first is if you have installed it personally then Click on Start - On the right pane click on Control Panel - Click on Programs & Features and uninstall the Internet Explorer 8....The second way to uninstall it is if has been downloaded as a update to your notebook... We need to click on Start - On the right pane click on Control Panel - Click on Programs & Features - On the left hand pane we have an option that says View Downloaded Updates - Go To the Windows option and you will get an option that says Windows Internet Explorer 8 and uninstall it... It will take it back to Internet Explorer 7 and your problem will be resolved if incase it does not then please contact me giving a brief description of the issue...
