Cannot uninstall game downloaded from internet

Downloaded Pool Sharks from the internet & want to uninstall it, but Windows Installer is telling me that the system administrator has set politics to prevent installation & I do not have sufficient access to uninstall Pool Sharks & to contact my system administrator.

Was advised to start up computer in safe mode, chose administrator as my user & uninstall then. Tried this but am then being advised that windows installer is not available in safe mode & that the windows installer could not be accessed & that this can occur if the windows installer is not correctly installed & to contact support personnel for assistance.

Can you help please?

go to control panel - then user accounts - locate "change the way users log on or log off" and click it - uncheck "Use teh Welcome Screen" - reboot.

you should get a username / password box - type in Administrator and leave blank the password field (or type-in a password if you have one)

I have a flash drive that has two detection programs. I downloaded it and put it on the flash drive for my parent's computer. (They have the same version of widows.) I'll get it back and give you the site(s) to try.
In the mean time, go to your Adobe flash player and see if there are up-dates. I had a slight glitch with that on my laptop. on up-date, it found a problem and I let it correct it. It's just a shot.
(I saved this in a folder. Weather permitting, I should go there tomorrow, I'll grab the flash drive.)

Download Windows Installer CleanUp Utility

One you have downloaded, install it. Restart the computer then launch it. When you launch it you will get a list of applications that you might remove. Select the appropriate one and follow the instructions on the screen.
