My acer 5750 i7 keeps shutting down

The infected laptops encounter random shutdown problem until some maintenance activity is being performed on the system.

Two important things that you should do to fix a laptop which keeps shutting down are:

1- Scanning computer to eliminate malwares, spywares and the viruses from your laptop.

2- Repairing and cleaning Windows registry.

The registry errors, however, are the internal errors and can become a cause of system crashes and freezes.
For an instant fix use system utility tool Reginout.

I keep getting a virus alert and when I ask to remove viruses it brings me to a page to buy virus protection. I already have virus protection on Windows. What can I do to resolve this annoying problem...

You are infected with a Trojan or Malware. The pop-ups are bogus.. You are only infected with the product they are trying to sell you. What is the name of the Virus Protection they are trying to sell you? First thing to do is restart your computer in Safe Mode and run all your security scans. See it they find the culprit. If not post back,

Hi I keep getting a like that pops up this isi the link I am not sure if is a virus I did not open it but it keeps poping up when I am on messenger with some one http://yeahpic.net/photos.php Do you...

The easiest way that I've found to get rid of this virus is to install a program called Malwarebytes. Shut down your computer and (assuming you've a PC) press F8 before the Windows icon appears. This'll bring up a boot screen, press the down button until you reach the section that boots the computer up in "Safe Mode" - then press the enter/return button. Once your computer is loaded up into Safe Mode run the Malwarebytes program - use the "full scan" option. It'll take a while to do the scan, but the program will find the virus and you can delete it.

hope this helps! :-)

My computer keeps freezing and is operating very slowly. What can i do to remedy these 2 problems. Ocasionally i get strange pop ups from another site.

Hi. This could be virus issue on your computer. Computer wont receive pop ups from the time you boot up your computer unless you will go to internet explorer and go to a website that ha a pop up. try to run your anti virus first to check for possible virus intrusion.

Have a good one!

My mouse keeps freezing

Blue screen is not a good sign at all. It can man alot of things, the driver is not right, you have a virus on your computer, or someone is in your computer. I would go and get and good firewall program or use xp or vista firewall. If that doesn't work then you do have virus. I would do a complete refresh on the system longest you have the recovery disk.

Freezing and restarting

This is generally a hardware issue. However, it could very well be that a virus has corrupted the system, and is causeing the hardware issue. Start by checking the memory. A bad memory chip is the most common cause for a problem of this nature.

Pop ups and trojan horse

You could try installing www.spybot.com although this may not be possible without admin rights (you wont have permission to install the app)

The other thing you could do is boot in safemode (F8 at the start) and see can you install it now.

If its XP you could try do a system restore back to a point when your laptop was working. Then install spybot

Finally you could make a dos virus scan disk from your antivirus ofware and let it scan windows and your drive before the trojan is started.

It can be tricky to remove, but if you tell me the name of the trojan there maybe an application/utilitie to remove that specific virus.

Hope this helps!
