Problem with dishlex dx302

We get error P10. Manual says it's a problem with water inlet filter. Programme stops running and bleeps and P10 flashes. I guess it's not filling up properly but if you press programme again it will restart for another 10 mins before the same problem occurs. Cannot locate this filter even though we have looked underneath, at the back and inside. Help.

P10 alrams activates after approx 5 - 7 mins operation. Restart will continue to fail around same time. Checked water in line filters just the ones connected to the actual water supply and where it enters the unit. Next step cap off water supply remove the until to investigate underneath. If no Joy Dump here I come!

I know what the problem is.

The 10 error relates to a water inlet problem. In my case the water was going in, but after about a minute it would display the error code and beep.

I knew the computer would sense for the incoming water and if it doesn't sense the water entering I assumed it goes into the error. There are two water pressure switches near the wash cavity base on the right side (looking from the front) which do the sensing. Each has a hose going from the switch to the sump at the bottom of the wash cavity.

At first I checked each pressure switch with a multimeter. I removed each hose from the sump andI gently blew into each hose while watching the multimeter. An audible click can be heard and the meter showed the switch closed indicating both pressure switches were OK.

Next I reconnected each hose to the sump and removed the other end from each pressure switch. A gentle blow into each revealed one hose connection to the sump was blocked. The blockage prevents the water level from activating the pressure switch at the appropiate time. The other sump hose connection was OK.

With an air compressor I blew compressed air back up the hose and into the sump on the blocked side. I lay the dish washer onto the left side to make it easier and to ensure the blockage would not remain in the sump when blown out. A clump of food scum was cleared from the sump with the compressed air.

Put it all back together and I don't need to wash by hand again and I have one happy wife.

Run the dishwasher through a test mode

Test Mode

Make sure the appliance is empty of water before running Diagnostics as it does not pump out before starting to fill and therefore you could overfill the appliance.
Open the door and set the program to the first program. (Normally rinse).
Turn the power off.
Press and hold the start button and while holding turn the power on.
After a little while the start button will flash, release the button.
Press the start button once and close the dishwasher door.
The machine will now run through a diagnostic routine.
Should take about 20 mins.
The machine will stop during diagnostics if an error is found and will display the error code. If no error is found it will complete the diagnostics and end the programme.

To exit diagnostics at any time just press and hold the start button till the programme is cancelled

I have looked through the Service Manual for you and there does not seem to be an error code 0001! or 0002. Are you getting any sound Bleeps? Or flashing Orange or Green lights?

Have a dishlex dx302 it starts. timer counts down and shortly after error code CL /beep happens. can you help me.

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors or feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/PUMP MOTOR/DRAIN to work when it is commanded .If this does not happen then the voltage at these points must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage/drive from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect.

If the water flows then the flow should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. What is most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch must be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting the motor. The water pressure must be good and the spraying must be seen to be good. If there is low pumping or pressure then the spray arms will not turn around to inject with pressure. If so the pump must be checked for clogging.

Finally after the wash the drain valve will be activated, the water is allowed to come in to rinse and then finally the drain valve/pump activated so as to drain off all the water.

Make sure that a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so check the command from the program module and then the executing device be it the valve or motor or pump.

Dishlex dx302 keeps beeping after every 2-5mins of operating..i hold down the start button for a few seconds then push the programme button and it starts operating again for only a few minutes

I had this problem, also. I just persisted with it for a week (re-initiating the start) & eventually it came good. Was very frustrating for a while. Your post was over two months ago; did it spontaneously resolve for you?

Dishlex dx302 - not heating water

If it is the old model about 15 years old (i own one myself) it is the water inlet it may be leaking.

I had the same troubles and i installed a new pipe on the dishwasher and now it heats fine. All you need to do is get a new pipe (you can get them from the dump) off of an old dishwasher and put it on yours but make sure it doesnt leak first.

If you have more questions please dont hesitate to ask im more than happy to help

Dishwasher flashes on Fast Wash

I am hoping I have just fixed mine with same problem. Couple weeks ago started stopping at start of cycle with fast button flashing. Check filters so one on top of unside machine and one on tap if you have one on there. Mine were blocked but still wouldnt work. I pulled out machine to find a kink in the water pipe. I have straightened this out and up to now its working. Fast button flashing refers to water inlet problem.
