Question about Canon imageCLASS MF5550 All-In-One Laser Printer
It says clearly on the side of this printer (that I just bought via eBay) that has Automatic 2-sided Copying, Printing, and Scanning, but I can't get any of it to work on my Mac Pro. I have the correct printer driver install yet the option for 2-sided printing is grayed out.
there are 2 ways to copy 2 sided
one is full duplex which means your copier must have a duplex attatchment fitted on the copier lid
the other if it hasn't got a duplexer is to copy in 1 to 2 mode which means you have to turn the copy over. it sounds like your machine has not got a duplexer fitted but it can still do double sided using 1 to 2.
hope this helps
