Question about Garmin GPS
It impossible repair the body glass of the screen, because it lost its waterproof seal.
In my case, my GPS fall down from the windshield mount inside my Jeep, and the body glass of the display was damaged by an scratch that cover almost the third part of the screen.
The only way to resolve this, is replace the upper part of the body of the GPS, and install a new seal, because this is fixed with glue.
Then, send your GPS to a Technical Support Dealer. It is not expensive: around US$ 45.

You should speak to your local Garmin reseller - Garmin offers lifetime manufacturer's warranty and they can replace your GPS unit with a new one (of course for a fee but still much cheaper than a new unit). Tested and proven. :)
