I dont have the remote to the stock alarm on my 2003 hyundai sonata and my alarm wont turn off and my car wont start

I know this sounds obvious, but did you run your battery dead? If you don't know, get the battery checked.as for as tuning off the alarm... Just simply disconnect your negative battery cable. This will reset the alarm. This doesn't solve the problem but makes it less annoying while figuring it out. What about the battery in your remote, is it dead? Look for any wires from the alarm that may be frayed, cut, or corroded. Hope this helps.

Tip

I removed the battery and now the car won't start

'I disconnected the car battery/changed the car battery and now my car won't start'

Another common question on Fixya.
You've done nothing wrong. It's simply that the immobiliser doesn't recognise the key.

Put the key into the ignition. Turn the ignition on. Press the LOCK button twice on your remote. Wait 1 minute.

Turn the ignition off and press the UNLOCK button on the remote a couple of times. This will disarm the immobiliser.

The key should be recognised and your vehicle will start.

Tv has power but wont turn on, NO picture , no hum , nothing but a red light

When the TV power button shows and no signs come on it could be caused by several things. But the most common cause is a faulty battery in the remote control. If the battery in the remote is out then the remote will refuse to work and therefore the TV will not come on. Simply try pressing the program button on the TV either upwards or downward and the TV should come on if the battery is the problem.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

2006 Ford Mustang GT wont start. Passenger side lights always stay on. Keyless remote wont open doors, trunk or sound the alarm (I checked the keyless remote battery it still has juice) When I turn the...

From the clicking sound and the fact that alot of your cars systems are down i would say that your battery is dead, if not bad altogether, or a terminal is loose on the battery. Check the terminals on your battery (be careful with the + (red) side and do not touch anything else metal on the car or the - (black) pole while touching it or just disconnect the - (black) for safetys sake). Check the terminals for looseness or corrosion and repair as neccisary. Then try a jumpstart but do not let the car "click" too much or you will burn out your starter. If your car's battery is indeed dead/bad you will find out within the next few times you try to turn on your car (it simply wont turn on) take the battery to a auto parts store and ask them to do a test. If the battery is ok then you can have it recharged if its bad then you will need a new one.

in the remote and the fan the little blue box is called a dip switch
you will have to open fans base to access the remote power sender
on both the fan and remote the dip switches have to match in order for the remote to work the fan properly
or your signal will never make it to remote box
