Double check your SMTP server. You may have misspelled it or it has recently changed. If that is the case, double check with your isp.

When I try to send a text message the envelope just goes round and round saying "wait", then when it finishes it says "no sent store". All my attempted sent messages are in my outbox. ...

Hello there, this problem is quite complicating to diagnose. First you have to check your message center number, if the message center number is correct then the problem is from your network provider or you are out of sms credits. To access the message center number simply go the the device message settings and check the center number from there. You might also want to visit the website of your network provider to get the correct center number from there. If you need further assistance do please let me know.
Thank you for visiting FixYa.

Hi,

This is because when you send a text message it gets stored in the outbox and it wil be sent.As there is no memory in the phone the message sent cannot be stored up in outbox which says memory full.

Please delete the images ,music files from the phone memory so that you can sent the text messages with photos.

Thanx

I send messages but they will not show up in the outbox. It's like I never even sent them.

In some mobiles like nokia we have sent and outbox as different. A message is saved in outbox only when the message is getting processed and it is not sent. It will be saved in sent msg when it is being sent.Which model no.u have? Please check do u have any sent box or not. If yes then check the messages which are sent by u in sent box. If no, then go to settings in messages and select message settings and select the message to be saved when sent.

Texts go to outbox but are not sent

Had a similar problem myself (Sony Ericsson W890i) - just a plain old SMS message got 'queued' in the outbox, and all further messages I tried to send got sent to the outbox too without ever being sent.

What I did was delete all the messages that I could from the outbox (5 out of the 6 which had been 'queued'), and the one remaining message that I could not delete I cancelled, sent it to the Drafts folder, and then Saved it (to the SIM). I then switched off the phone, took out the SIM card, put it in my old Sony Ericsson handset, switched that on, went to the Messages folder and deleted this one troublesome SMS message from the 'Saved' sub folder. Replaced the SIM in my current handset, and sending messages thereafter was no problem. Hope it works for you too!

Message pending

I get this problem a lot. Try turning your phone off, taking the battery and sim out and leaving it for a good few hours. It usually fixes the problem temporarily for me.

Text is stuck in my outbox

I had this same problem. Deleting and clicking "yes" at the warning screen would not remove the message from my outbox and the message kept resending for days.

Solution: In the Outbox, click "Menu" > Empty Deleted Items. Click "yes" at the warning. The message should now be gone from your outbox and your text buddy should now be able to regain sanity.

T-mobile credited back the resent text messages when I called them.
