Question about Acer X1160 DLP Data Projector, 2,000 ANSI, 2,000:1 Contrast Native SVGA - 800 x 600 res Projector
I have an Acer DLP, after start up of my PC it gives a "no signal" on the screen.... its probably something basic that I am not doing.
After half a day of tinkering around with my new Acer I fixed my problem, which I think is yours also. I connected it to my notebook, it read the signal 'D-Sub' or something like that, and after my notebook finished startup, it reverted to no signal. I tried it with my desktop and it worked just fine. The display will only show up on one output device. It worked fine on my desktop because I was unplugging my monitor in order to hook up the projector. Hooking the projector up to my notebook left the display panel still active and that was where it displayed. In case I'm not making sense, the solution is this: After setting everything up, hit Control+Alt+F1 to switch display from your screen to the projector. To switch back, hit Control+Alt+F3
