Question about Philips Magnavox DVD/VCR Dual Player
There's a VHS tape I got at a garage sale not too long ago that the VCR (I have a DVD/VCR combo) will not accept. It will go in, but ejects after a second or two. I tried other VHS tapes and they all worked just fine. It seems to be just that one tape the VCR isn't accepting, but there does not appear to be anything out of the ordinary with it. Any suggestions?
I had this happen once and all I did to correct it was to fast forward it just slightly or manually wind it past the leader strip (the clear or white part at the beginning). To do it manually, there is a small hole you must insert a toothpick (or something else as small) to push the pin in and then advance it with your finger while holding the pin in. Hope this helps.
