It means the camera is using a slow shutter speed and may blur.
You might have the camera set to an inappropriate 'scene' mode. If you
are using 'landscape' or 'snow' for an indoor or night shot for
example, the camera will select a slow shutter speed which will
increase the chance of blur - hence the warning.
If you keep the selector switch all the way to the left (auto mode) you
should be fine in most situations. Only use the 'scene' modes for

The red blinking light can mean a couple of things. First, It could mean that you have a message. If that is not the case, you caould have on the 'LED Coverage Indicator'. The LED Coverage Indicator tells you by having the top light flash eather Green or Red depending on coverage. If you are in a place that has good coverage it wil flash Green but if you have little or no coverage the LED will flash Red. To check if you have this setting enabled, first go to "OPTIONS" on the phone in the full menu. Once there, go to "SCREEN AND KEYBOARD". Click on 'SCREEN AND KEYBOARD" and scroll down will you see the option that says "LED COVERAGE INDICATOR". Click on that and switch it to OFF if it is not already there. Then click the back bottton and click SAVE. That should work. If it doesnt, I would call your phone carrier and ask them.

Try replacing the SD card first..sometimes that can be a culprit. If that does not resolve the issue, try tapping a corner of the camera on the palm of your hand a couple of times. (I hear swearing while doing this helps..LOL) If neither of them works, then yu either have a faulty CCD sensor, or faulty connector ribbons to the LCD display. Since you said you just got the camera a week ago, if the first two solutions don't work, then you best get the camera replaced under warranty.
Hope that helps! Oh yes, please do not forget to assign a fixya rating as a show of appreciation for my help. Rating here are everything, you know :)
