Question about Linksys WUSB54GSC Compact Wireless-G USB Network Adapter w/ SpeedBooster [WUSB54GSC] (LS-SB54GSC)
I receive this message when attempting to connect to the internet on the Linksys monitor screen. Every so often it connects to the internet for no apparent reason. However, this is a toss of a coin and will not consistently connect. What is the problem? And how do I fix this?
I am having the same problem. My internet connection is at 96% and it connects and then disconnects while trying to access the internet.

Try to reset your ip address
Find your internal IP address.
Click on "Start -> Run..." and enter "cmd" into the box.
When the command-line pops up, enter "ipconfig / renew" and hit "Enter."
This will be rewing your ip address

The main reason why you have this error message because your computer is not getting a valid IP address from teh wireless network, and the reason why its not getting a valid IP address is the wireless security or sometimes called WEP/WPA kay are not type in to the correct place, If you have a WEP enable on your wireless network you will have two option on the Linksys WLAN monitor where you can type in teh security key, you will see two boxes there when you try to connect to the secured network one says Passohrase and one says WEP key1 and if yuo have a wireless key that has a total of 10 or 26 key character you need to type that on the WEP key1 box leave the passphrase blank...But if it still didn't work you can contact this number for help 1-877-787-8749....
