Question about Frigidaire FEQ332E Electric Dryer
I just bought the dryer used and the power cord was unattached. I am in the process of attaching the cord to the dryer ( it is a four prong) My question is: Do I unattach the dryers green ground wire from the green screw and then attach the white wire on the cord to the the middle panel ( which is where the green ground is connected) and the red wire on the cord to the first panel where the red wire is and the black wire on the cord to the third panel where the black wire is, then attach the green wire from the power cord to the green screw?
This is the rule of thumb, white always goes on the middle terminal ,the 2 outside terminal wires it does not matter which side they are on,if you can see the red and black wire on the terminal block then match them up,the green wire gets mounted to the cabinet, you should already have a green wire to the cabinet so remove the screw and put both wires there and your done, let me know how you do-mike
