Remove all USB references in device manager, then reboot.

Is it possible to make my W3506 Desktop Emachine wireless?

If by wireless you mean you are looking to be able to connect to a wireless router, then yes, it is simple. You can either install a wireless card inside the computer, if you have an empty slot available, or you can get an external wireless card, which plugs into an open USB port, the easiest way to go. Best place I know to find these is at, or try Amazon.

Try connecting the external device to another computer, to see if can be detected on that computer. If not, then the device itself has a problem.

Otherwise, try connecting your device to a different USB port on your computer.

Also, try some other USB device (camera, memory-stick) in each of your computer's USB ports, to confirm that the USB ports themselves are working.

Your keyboard USB cord has probably become loose. Try reseating the cable into another USB port, or just reseating it if the keyboard uses a keyboard cord.
If this doesn't work, try a different keyboard (if you have another one around the house).
You may have either a bad USB port, dirty port, or bad keyboard.

X box

Hey dc13240,

It also snaps in. Once you plug it into the back usb port, it fits snuggly over that gap.

Here's a pic for reference.

Hope the info helps.
