Question about Computers & Internet
I would be grateful if any one can shed any light on this problem. Apologies if I have posted in the wrong place, I'm a novice to all this technical stuff. My problem is as follows, any open emails in the inbox keep disappearing when I move to the delete, sent or any other folder then return to the inbox, the open emails have just disappeared. Also cannot move email from sent or delete folder back to inbox. I used outlook express and have been advised that it must be a program problem. My ISP had probem with their email accounts for about 3 days and I and many others could not access emails. Since then I have had this problem with disappearing emails and they say the fault is a program problem. I don't know what to do, and help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Have you checked your email through a method other than the iphone to see if it truly is gone? The phone will only display so many messages at a time, maybe your previous ones are just "dropping off" the bottom of the list. If that's the case then they're still on the server, just not visible on the phone. You can view more by going to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Show. Hope this helps.
