Question about Lexmark X6180 Printer
The error says:
Alignment problem. Remove tape from cartridge
I found the solution to my problem: This error was occurring after installing a new non-Lexmark cartridge. When I put the old Lexmark cartridge in, the problem ceased. I returned the non-Lexmark cartridge and the store mentioned that the metal strips sometimes fail on off-brand cartridges. I am now using a Lexmark Cartridge AND re-installed the software that came with the printer, and it seems to be working. Also, I previously had another printer marked as the "default" printer. I marked the Lexmark as the default printer when I'm using it, and it seems to solve a lot of issues with the print driver.
