If you reset the router you will lose all the settings of the router. On the router you will find a small reset button . Hold it down for 30 seconds. Unplug the power cable and plug it back in. wait for 30 seconds and then reconfigure the router. Click Here for more info about router set up.
If you have forgotten your LinkSys router password, the easiest thing to do is to reset your router to the factory default settings.
To restore the router configuration to factory defaults, hold the reset button on the unit for 30 seconds.
Once your router is hard reset, you will need to login and reconfigure it again.

I seriously can't stand those motorola routers specially since they have to reboot themselves after every change.
Unplug the power from the router, hold the reset button in and plug the power back. Keep holding the reset button for 30 seconds. That should restore it back to factory settings. Plug one machine to the router and try to access the admin console. if memory serves me correctly, the user name is admin and password is motorola.
