If the books have been loaded from Kobo, you can go to their site and load them again (for free). If not, you would have to get them again from other sources and may have to pay for them again.

talk to customer service for KOBO. You may have bought a book in the wrong format for you reader. Also contact the place you bought the book from for a refund.
I take it you are first going in to Kobo and then plugging in your e-reader, if it does not start to sync click on the button (top right) and it should sync - if this does not help - delete disk top and re-load
You should have first of all downloaded Kobo desk top apps on to your computer - after which you can buy book....then syncing ...once the book has been loaded to your library you plug your e-reader in and syncing, this loads the book on to your e-reader..
When you have downloaded - and payed for the books, you must click on up date to library, after which you can plug in your e-reader and down load to it
Does your Kobo turn off and on normally? Or is it stuck loading the book and totally not responding? If so, reset your Kobo. Look on the bottom edge of the Kobo - see the little pinhole? Stick a paper clip into there until you feel it push against a little switch. Remove the paper clip.
Is the Kobo working, but simply can't open a book? If it's only affecting a particular book, try deleting it and downloading it again.
are you sure you have not exceeded your memory capability?If it has it will bump a book every time you add a new one..it has to to load the new one each time ..may require a larger micro memory card...OR you could have dropped a driver from the adobe file and checking settings. you may have to do updates on it..Or you have a problem with syncing ..again that may be just an update to KOBO default settings.Hope these can help .Kobo.com support can help as a last resort ..GOD BLESS
