Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
The contacts on the cables may have somehow been "rusted" or not be able to transmit the info put through them. try using different cables or a different tv. maybe even using the cables on a different ps3 to make sure it isnt the cables. the ports to the ps3 could be shot which is very unlikely though unless it has been exposed to some electric shock or form of static electricity.
