Washing Machine and DigitalCams dont mix

Recently, i went paintballing and took a lot of photo's. After which, i washed my paintball pants and unknown to me, my Casio Exlim EZ-Z60 was in my pocket, so i found it after the washer had turned off.

I have been airing it out for 3 days now, and the only way it will turn on is if i hold the power button, or to press the power button once then again after a second or so, and then it makes a noise like if you were to go to the gallery, and will show a screen that says "Adjust" and it has a Time&Date setup, but my keypad doesn't have any affect on the screen.

If i try to turn it on normally, it will flash the green power light and stay black, a couple minutes later it will make a noise as it turns itself off.

Help me please. I would really really appreciate some feedback that might help.

If it requires taking apart i have the materials required to do so. I figured that would be a last resort, in the case it couldn't be replaced and that i cant get any help.
