Question about Kyocera Switchback KX21 Cellular Phone

3 Answers

Searching my phone was fully functional one minute the next it began displaying ''searching'' on the scree as if it had lost signal. this continued for a while so i powered the phone off and back on and it was still searching. i removed the battery and same result. i then called my carrier support line and they walked me through some steps which did nothing to help me. if anyone has any suggestions or answers i would greatly appriciate it. thanks for your time.

Try setting the network lookup to manual instead of automatic. That way it would only look for a signal when you want it to.

My lg renior is always searching a 3G signal.. and if i use GSM network my signal is always lost.. plss help me..

I'm not sure if I fully understand your problem but, if you're just unable to connect to a carrier try the following. p { margin-bottom: 0.08in; }

It worked for me with AT&T.

Bring up the phone onto the screen.

Enter: 3845#*910#

(You may have to do this a few times because sometimes it will actually try to dial the number.

This puts you in test mode.

Scroll down and select: Network mode

Scroll down and select: Automatic

That's it!

Hope this helps.

Hi i get no service on my iphone

Have you tried to unlock the iPhone? This is a common problem if the iPhone is jailbroken or unlocked.

Kindly try the steps below:

* Go to Settings:General:Reset.

* Click Reset Network Settings

* Enter your passcode if you have created one.

* Click the red button: Reset Network Settings

* The iPhone will take a minute to shut down, then it will reboot.

- If these steps will not work, then follow the steps below:

1. Start with iphone with no service (jailbroken and unlocked)

2. Use iBrickr to load Launchctl GUI (Application -> Browse Application -> Launchctl GUI)

3. Open Launchctl GUI, look for the CommCenter line. If it is red - go to step 5. If it is black - proceed to the next step.

4. Select the CommCenter line, you will see a list of 3 options, select the unload -w, and press ok to confirm, the CommCenter should now be red in the list.

5. Fully restart your iPhone.

6. Open Launchctl GUI, look for the CommCenter line. It should be red if you did the above steps correctly.

7. Select the CommCenter line, you will see a list of 3 options, select the load -w, and press ok to confirm, the CommCenter should now be black in the list.

8. Press the home button. Your phone should now display 'searching' then display your network with full signal.

NOTE: Once your iPhone is working fine, open iBrickr again, go to applications, and delete the Launchctl GUI from your phone by clicking the red (-)minus buttons on the right of the screen.

Thank you and good luck!

It takes hours to get a signal after it is turned on, the battery is full charged and after it gets a signal it is full.

If your phone is unable to find a signal after 15 minutes of
searching, a Power Save feature is automatically activated. If
your phone is active, it periodically rechecks service availability
or you can check it yourself by pressing any key.
Anytime the Power Save feature is activated, a message displays
on the screen. When a signal is found, your phone returns to
standby mode.But u are saying it takes hours to get the signal.I think it

Samsung e250 limited service

you have a prob in signal reception. it is hardware related. if you can open your phone, try checking its antena connection probably it lost its contact to the board. or worst it has a problem on its hardware parts.

if you can't open your phone have it repaired to technicians coz it is mostly hardware related...
