The solution posted there is for a Samsung SPH-m620, but it works also for a Samsing m520. Briefly, you download the demo version of CDMA workship to get the MSL code (also called the SPC code).
Then you download Qualcomm QPST to install your games or songs in the file brew/shared/jas/temp/install. For songs, you need to create a gcd file, which you can do yourself or download from http://www.sprintusers.com/downloads/gcdcreator/
For games, you get the .jar and .jad files from
http://www.mobilerated.com/samsung-sph-m520-games.html
If you have no data plan, then you can't install games with adds because it tries to connect to the internet to install the adds.
One final note, when you use QPST to peruse your phones files, most files won't open because the're locked. If you want to see the locked files you'll need another program - P2k commander.

hi, you have to coppy the jar file into the install folder on your phone and make sure the java version of your phone is compatible with java file. then install from the folder.

its very easy friend..just take some steps...
1- download the jar or jad apllication on your pc.through any website, such as www.mobile9.com or etc.
2- connect the mobile to pc via bluetooth or dada cable.
3- make a new folder on a mobile memory card.
4- now copy and paste jar or jad file in your mobile's new folder.
5- disconnect the mobile from pc.
6- and open the new folder on your mobile.
7- just open the jar or jad file.
8- and install the jar or jad file on your mobile.
