see this causes and fix it. God bless you Water Inlet Valve
If the hose connections are good to the water inlet valve check that water is not leaking from the valve itself it is replace the water inlet valve.
Check the drain pump housing and all hose connections. The drain pump is down under neath. To disassemble your washer follow the appropiate tutorial. Hoses can be tightened. If hoses or pump housing is leaking replace the pump assembly.
This is in the center of the tub. The seal is inexpensive but will require some labor to install. Check the tutorials on disassembling the cabinet then remove the agitater and inner tub. Enter your model # above for a diagram or illustration.
Similar issues here.I removed the switch from the machine, connected 120v into the solenoid pins, push on the plastic tab inside the switch and got a continuity on pins 1 and 4.Reinstalled,pressed start and still no voltage at the inlet valve??Blowed air into pressure hose and heard aair into tub..Any ideas would be appreciated...Frigidaire model gltf2070ds0. Thanks
Remove the bottom access panel by removing the almost two hidden screws along the bottom. The pump is located on the right. Remove the two hoses and two screw that mount the pump to the base. Clean away. Reattach hoses and screws. TEST unit with panel off to check for leaks. The hoses can be a pain to get on right. Also beware water caught in tub and drain hose will leak out. Bring towels. Lots.
typical problem for front load washer is that it stops when it comes to a rinse or spin cycle.there is something blocking the drain pump.in order to drain all the water out of the washer the best way is to use a wet dry shop vac. attach the vaccum to the end of the drain hose and remove all the water. once the water is removed the door should unlock.then you can access the drain pump from either the front or rear panel depending on the model you have.some models will have a access panel on the front to check to drain pump however if you do not see anything in the pump. then the obstruction is in the part of the drain hose that leads from the bottom of the tub into the drain pump.if there is no obstruction found then you need to check the wiring and make sure it is securely attach. last thing when all else fails replace the drain pump. There times the door lock mechanism has failed
there is a chance that the tub seal is broken. in orfer to check it you need to remove the front panel by taking the two screws out of the bottom the push the two clips in that are located about an inch in from either side of the washer the lid will pop up and then you can remove the front panel.
then start the washer again and look to see where the water is coming from
Try cleaning the drain plug. I did this in about 5 minutes and was amazed at how much debris was clogging up the drain. Mine was accessible by removing two screws at the bottom of washer and removing panel. Drain plug was right there and easy to unscrew. Be sure to have a cookie sheet or other pan to catch the water that will flow out. Once that drain is clear, thumping should stop because water can flow down the drain easily.
Something probably got caught in the seal and pulled it out of place. If u run washer so that it fills up and starts tumbling,,, and there is no water leak,, there is a good chance u can repair this yourself. So if there is no water leaking,,, you can try and take out the bottom front panel and twisting, or shoving it back into place. If there is water leaking,,, than chances are its ripped or broken, and will need to be completely replaced
