Question about Belkin (F5D7230-4) Router (587009)

1 Answer

Losing connection I have had my belkin g router since April and about two months ago it started losing connection when the home phone rings. It will stay offline until the phone call is over. My phone service is AT&T and the internet service is Suddenlink cable. I have had their techs here and they said it had to be the router and they had never seen this before. Please help. When the phone is ringing or in use, it is interupting the router signal. You should be able to avoid any interference with your router by changing the channel on your phone. If that doesn't help, you'll have to go thru the router setting and change the channel on the router. Try the phone though, thats the easiest fix. Good Luck to you!

Yes, you can change the bandwidth of your router if you are facing the interference problem. You can change the bandwidth and check whether both are still in the interference or not; continue to change BW, till its not in interference.

Belkin F6D4330 Router - No wireless connection. Cable connection to PC works. I have restarted the router. The laptops in the house are MACS - PC uses Windows 7. Worked fine for months. What should I try?

Ring up the service provider. I have a belkin server and I had the same problem.
You should have a phone number with your server in the box it came in. If not go onto http://en-us-support.belkin.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/508
This should give you a local free number and from there they will give you free support on how to connect.

Hope I helped Dr Reed
