I bought a new Canon digital SLR, the Rebel XSI/450D
It takes a SD card. I bought 2 different generic 8GB cards and it wont format either one of them?
I wonder if the camera has a GB limit? or do I need a Sandisk or name brand? My 1 bg lexar SD card is working in the camera fine.

- I'm having SD card formatting problems also with my xsi. I'm using a 4GB card that the camera uses OK sometimes, but other time says it can't format. If I take the card out of the camera and then put it back in it will usually work for a few shots until the camera again says it can't format the card.
