Usually there is a CD that would come with the mouse when you buy it. You'd insert the CD into your computer, and an installation program would launch (note, though, that some of those are only designed to work on Windows computers, so they won't work if you have a Mac). Otherwise, you could check the website of the company that made the mouse. Usually, you can either find those things in the support section, or you could find the product and look for a link to download the software.
By the way, the basic functions (left- and right-click and scroll) should still work without installing software.

Hi friend , make sure you have install the proper driver of it, if you don't have the driver or you don't know what is the exact driver, then my suggestion is you can install windows 7 operating system then i am sure it will work, or you can check it out by connecting a different computer where windows 7 is installed. make sure the usb port is working fine also.

There was no manual for my new Sanyo Incognito SCP-6760 cell phone

First of all, thank you very much Kandice for choosing FIXYA today for your online technical support needs.

Here is a direct link to the ONLINE USER'S MANUAL for that model:

http://www.kyocera-wireless.com/sanyo/usa/incognito-scp6760-phone/pdf/Boost_Mobile_Incognito_SCP6760_User_Guide_en.pdf

To view the Owner's Manual with Operating Instructions just use your mouse to click on the link, which is the underlined and blue highlighted section of text just above.

This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information at the website indicated and the contents of the Owner's Manual.

You may need ADOBE READER installed on your computer to read PDF documents, although many computers already have this type of utility pre-installed.

You can download this free at WWW.ADOBE.COM if necessary. Click on the DOWNLOAD ADOBE READER button on right side of the ADOBE home page when you get there, then follow the onscreen instructions to install the software on your computer.

I truly hope that was helpful to you.

Good luck and take care.

Joe.

Onn wrieless mouse is not working

Try replacing the batteries in the mouse. Sometimes the light will still come out of the bottom of the mouse - but the wireless signal is no good.

Also - after you replace the batteries in the mouse, click the sync button on the USB part that plugs into your computer, and then immediatly click the sync button on the bottom of the mouse.

That should do it!

joeycool1999 I don't believe I can post a direct link to a PDF file.

This is a link to a PDF motherboard manual for the MSI MS-6712 motherboard,
(Micro Star International),

http://uk.ts.fujitsu.com/rl/servicesupport/techsupport/Boards/Motherboards/MicroStar/ms6712/ms6712_uk.pdf

Copy and paste the above URL in your address bar, then press the Enter key.

{ Disregard the following if you are aware;

Copy:
Put your mouse cursor on the h of http://
Press, and hold down on the left mouse button.
Slide your mouse across the above URL, so that the above URL will be highlighted. (All of it)
Now press, and hold down on the CTRL key, then press the c key once.

Paste:
Go up to the address bar at the top of your browser screen.
It should have - http://www, and so on, in it.

Put your mouse cursor in the address bar, left-click once.
Press, and hold down on the CTRL key, then press the v key once.

Now press the Enter key once }

After you press the Enter key, it may take up to 30 seconds before the first page will come up.
It may also take additional time for the file to fully download.

If the above PDF file link does not work for you, let me know in a Comment.

Microsoft arc mouse clicks sometimes work, sometimes don't. What could be the problem?

Hello,

Do you currently have the mouse drivers/software installed? Microsoft offers them for free on this download page: http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/arc-mouse

I recommend downloading IntelliPoint which is located on the link I gave you.

Instead of specifying a certain number of seconds for each slide, is there anyway that I could advance to the next slide manually by using a mouse click? I have to lecture on each slide and I don't...

Dear,
May I suggest you use OpenOffice Impress for your presentation?
It's free and you can easily adjust it for advancing slides on a mouse click.
You can download it here.

The cursor jumps all over the place when I am typing. I know I am not hitting the touchpad and the thing jumped three times while typing this short note.

Hi,

Welcome to FixYa! This is about the configuration of your touchpad. You will need to configure it so that once you are typing, tapping will automatically be disabled. You can also try to download a third party software that will freeze the touchpad while you are typing. For you to be able to download the software, click on this link. Just run the program and follow the instructions to download. For you to be able to manually configure the mouse option, follow the steps below:

1. Click Start.

2. Go to Control Panel.

3. Under the Control Panel, Double Click on Mouse

4. Go to the Tapping tab.

5. Put a check mark on Disabled tapping while typing.

Hope this information will help. Thank you for using FixYa!

Just bought a Philips Mp3 player, know nothing about how to use or load, directions only have pictures, where do I get the manual off the internet to read. Remember I don't know a thing about how to use...

First, the device would have been provided with a cable from which connection would be made to the computer. Second, the device would have likely been acquired together with an installation disk. The disk should be installed on the computer because contained the program that would hold media for transferability perposes. Third, once software has been installed every available media would be compiled onto an area called the transfer library or player list for manipulation. Fourth, at which point connecting the device to the computer should be ready for transfer. The device is simply recognised by the computer program that was installed on the computer making way for feartures like transfter, save, edit, and the like.

You can download drivers for the mouse at:

http://www.belkin.com/support/download.asp?lang=1&download=F8E825-USB&mode=

The mouse may or may not work depending on your operating system. I do not know if this mouse is compatible with Windows Vista/7 or 64-bit operating systems.
