I bought this machine newI keep getting a small circle ( on the lower right hand side of the screen) with a red line thru it and with a right fist with the index finger pointing downwards inside this circle. I can't get anywhere because every button I push on the remote, gives me this pop up. What does it mean and how can I get rid of it?? I have not been able to use this recorder yet. The toll free number I called gave me some idiot who did not know what to do. What can I do??
Have you performed setup? This has happened to me but it was because I had to do somethig else before it would let me do what I was trying to do. email me email@example.com and maybe you can give me some specifics and I can help you out.
Call back, ask to speak to someone who speaks English and you can understand. If that person do not know then ask to speak to someone else. The toll free number doesn't work for me now, don't know why, but I used it before and got someone who walked me thru that problem and was told that if it did it again, call back and they would send me another one. I did not do that, but other things and then I could not reach anyone with the number I have, what happened?

Turn the trimmer over, I put it in my lap.Remove the orange spool cap by squeezing with thumb & forefinger. It will come right off. Remove & discard(there has got to be something they can be recycled as?) If you are right handed, hold the new spool firmly with left hand with flat side with the arrows up, keep a firm grasp & use small needle nosed pliers(I use hemostats) etc. to free the loose end of the line where it is looped thru the 2 slots. Keeping hold of the spool so it doesn't all unwind, let enough out to feed thru the hole on the side of the compartment where the old spool was. 2-3" will be enough. Then, place the spool into it's compartment with the flat arrow side up.Keep a good grip on the spool until you get it into place. Replace the spool cap by aligning it in the 2 slots that it came from & gently squeezing again until it locks into place & you are set to go. Don't worry about feeding the line out to proper length, it will do that all by it's self.
See the picture below. The small red circle shows the locking screw on the right side of the drill. There is another locking screw on the left side of the drill. Loosen them both a half turn. The larger red oval is the handle to pull the motor closer to the spindle, thereby loosening the belt. Once loosened, it is easy to move the belt. Then use the handle to push the motor back, which tightens the belt. Keep pushing on that handle with your right hand while you tighten the locking screw on the left side of the drill with your left hand. Once you have that tight then tighten the right side locking screw. Good luck! I hope this helps.
There may be a button towards the top of the keyboard (one of the ones with LEDs next to them) that turns the touch pad on and off. Otherwise, there is usually a keyboard combination (the Fn key in the lower left + one of the F1-12 keys) that can toggle it on and off as well. Otherwise, in the lower right hand corner, if you plug in a mouse, you should be able to right click the touchpad icon and re-enable it.
On the menu there should be an icon that looks like a yellow lightning
bolt with a red circle around it and a red line thru it (this means that
the flash is off)....in the lower right hand corner you should see a
white lightning bolt. Tap the red circle 2 times and you should notice
that the yellow lightning bolt now stands alone and the red circle and
the red line has been removed (now your flash is on). Note: Each time
you turn on the camera and you need flash, you will have to make this
adjustment...I hadn't figured out a way so that it happens
I would like to know the same. We purchased ours on 10/25 and on 12/29 a black half moon shape showed up in the lower left hand side of the screen. Now the rightmost side of the screen is almost covered in black circles. There are also varying widths of lines going up and down on the right half of the screen.
We have tried contacting cusomer service and keep getting voicemail.
The circle in the lower right hand corner of the PSP screen is showing that a disc is being read. I would say take out any discs you're using and try to run things directly off of the memory card. I'm not going to dive into anything else, because Custom Firmware on the PSP is a tricky situation that you really shouldn't be asking about on FixYa.com.
I'm not an expert, but I have determined that the vertical bars that are often red, sometimes blue ... and sometimes both ... are related to a bad control board. I've also read that a common fix is to buy a repair kit with includes the ysus, zsus and control boards ... all replaced together. My experience was that after a month or two with the 1.5" wide stripes, that you eventually loose the entire picture and have sound only. MIne comes back, but won't stay working for very long and the stripes are always there (buy used to fade and flicker sometimes). I'm planning on replacing the control board.
