How do i hook up a 32 inch Sansui TV to an antenna

After you connect the antenna cable to the TV go into the setup mode and on the tuner line change it from cable to air. Then do an automatic channel search and you're done.

I bought this amp. It switches on. It crackles and pops through the speakers and headphones. I disconnected the speakers. It keeps doing it through the headphones.

Hi George:
Old amp volume and tone controls are "pots" or potentiometers. They actually have contact points in them. If you can clean them you should get rid of a lot of the noise. Your local music store may be able to coach you. Old amps can be every bit as good as the newer ones. I have a 1950's Traynor tube model. Gotta luv it! Rock on.

Sansui stereo remote

the above mentioned make and model # unit is a tuner, not a reciever, as a tuner, it's only function is to recieve radio signals, there is no internal amp, no selector switch for other components.

Sansui G-7700 digital display

Funny that you just posted. On Monday, I dropped off my G-7700 at The Audio Lab in Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA. http://www.theaudiolab.com/

As soon as I walked in the place I knew I was at the right spot. They service and sell some really high-end vintage units as well as carry brand new high-end audio equipment. $60/hr for service work. As a gauge, my G-7700 took 2hrs to do a complete overhaul, which included replacing some pots, re-soldering cold joints, calibrating the tuner and other components. i thought it worked really well before!

Experienced, knowledgeable, efficient.

Give them a call and ship your G-7700 to them. It's worth it.

Sansui 9900Z. Tuner does not fine tune such as 89.1, 89.2, etc, it jumps from 89.0, 90.0, 91.0 etc. Can you offer any help.

Hi aline1929

This is an early synthesised tuner built in the early 80's. In saying that, it is still a revered receiver for performance and sonics. It will have a fault in the in the divider stages of the freguency synthesis circuit that will need a tech to have a look at for you. Frequency synthesis faults can be difficult to repair if you do not have previous experience. Where abouts in the world are you and I will try to steer you to someone that can help you to repair the problem.

I am more than happy to answer any other questions you may have about it, just give me a hoy :) Thanks for using FixYa, If you consider the advice I have given you as sound, a FixYa rating is a great reward for my efforts to help you. Cheers.
