Cant remember what cords are needed to connect my lexmark x4270

According to the Lexmark X4270 Specs page at Lexmark.com, this uses a standard USB A/B cable Click to See Example.

Be sure to get the A/B (or A Male to B Male) type cable. The two ends will look different from each other.

If you need a power cable, you'll need to contact Lexmark's tech support to find out what type you need.

I need power cord and computer cable for a lexmark all in one x1250 , where can I get one?

The computer cable is a standard USB printer cable (A to B connectors). The power cable is a proprietary cable that has an AC adapter box at the end, which fits into the back of the printer/scanner. This cable can only be obtained through Lexmark. If by chance, your printer has a power cable plug in the back and NOT the box tye adapter that I described, then you can pick this up at any store that sells electronics. There's two standard power cables for computers and components. One is about 1 inch wide and looks like a rectangle with rounded corners, and the other looks like a sideways number 8 with two prongs in the middle.

I am having difficulty printing, receiving error message #1201 which is not in the manual. Re: Lexmark FAx X4270 Please provide me with a suggestion.

Hi teri,

I've seen this before and I know that once it was fixed by cycling the power a certain way. Try this:

1) Turn the printer off.
2) Unplug all of the cables.
3) Plug the power cable back in.
4) Turn the printer back on.
5) If the 1201 message on the Control Panel comes back up, try plugging the printer directly into the wall or into a different power strip. If no error message, plug the USB cable back into the printer and try printing.

It could also be a faulty AC adapter - if you have access to another compatible AC adapter try that. If the message continues, then the printer is probably defective and you should check your warranty status.

Please let me know what you come up with.
