I have the 3 RCA red, yellow, white cables on back of dvd and to tv. Video only plays when I select video 1 under the input. When when I select video 3 only sound and no video. What else can I try?

Sounds like from the symptoms that you have plugged the white and red cables into AV3 input on the back of the Teleivsion and plugged the yellow cable into AV1 on the back of the Television.
Check the cables are all plugged into AV1 input ports on the back of the Television. Red and White go into the Audio inputs and Yellow goes in the video input. Also make sure you have not plugged cables into component inputs on television look for AV1 in on back of Television .

How do you hook-up mintek 1770 to tv

Look for a special special connector that may or may not have come with your unit. It will be a Y connector with a plug in jack on one end and VGA (red, yellow, white) jacks on the other. Plug this end into an input on your tv.

Give me properly installation of stand alone dvr with computer all window how sport the dvr send me properly anstallation of standalone dvr

Take one co-axial cable, and connect the "input" port to your cable-company's wall-port.

Look at the connectors on the back of your TV. You could have:
* coaxial input (lowest video-quality)
* S-Video input (better video-quality)
* component input - three cables for video, two cables for audio (better video-quality)
* HDMI input (highest video-quality)

Look at the connectors on the "output" side of the PVR. You could have:
* coaxial output (lowest video-quality)
* S-Video output (better video-quality)
* component output - three cables for video, two cables for audio (better video-quality)
* HDMI output (highest video-quality)

Connect the "outputs" to the "inputs", using appropriate cables.

Turn the PVR on. Turn the TV on.

Use the "source" button on the TV's remote-control to select from the various inputs
(Coax, S-Video, Component, HDMI1, HDMI2).

If your TV has 'PIP' ("Picture-In-Picture") capability, connect more than one output to a second input, so that both tuners inside your TV will receive a signal.

Mymonitor is an AOC 1770 CRT, it have a light

make sure you dont have a bent pin on the cable where it plugs in. a bent pin will make different things happen to your colors. if the whole thing is tinted, yellow, or purple it usually is an issue with the plug. also, if you have an old screen plug it in and eliminate the video card as the culprit.

I have sound but no picture, can you help

Please give more information, on how you found the problem. Have you tried the video output connected to another monitor to see if the video processor circuits are still functional. You can do this by using cables to the video output of the dvd player to the input of your television. Usually Three wire connections. The yellow connector is for the video and the red and white connectors are for the audio. Make these connections and use your television on a alternative signal source input. This is usually a function button on the television or the remote control. The function is usually labeled input. You can find the correct set-up information with pictures in the owners manuals of the products. If after testing the video ouput from the dvd player. You find that you do have output, then you may have a connection problem between the main board and the LCD screen. These connectors are usually ribbon cables and are a yellow or golden color. They are connected by a clamping connector. The connector is usually released by using a small screw driver to release the clamping device. You can check the connector and see if it looks like it still working. If the connector looks crimped,torn or bent badly it may need replacement. If they look ok , then you may want to use some contact cleaner to clean the connection points and the connector. You can do this by spraying a small amount of contact cleaner on a cotton swab. Take the swab and wipe the connector, cleaning the connection points and then use a small brush with a small amount of contact cleaner to clean the connector. You can also use a can of compressed air to blow all dust and debris from the connector and the circuit board. Make sure to clean all areas of the board as dust and dirt act as a heat blanket and cause overheating problems on the ciricuit board. If all of this seems over your head. Have a friend help you. Or take it to a repair shop for evaluation. There are many helpful videos on you tube that can show you how to do the disassembly and cleaning of the player . Look under cleaning and repairing portable dvd players. If you have a vidoe processor failure, then it may not be repairable. The expense may be more than the cost of just replacing the dvd player. I hope this information helps you with your problem.

Composite and s-video inputs stopped working

You may have shifted the input board a little while replaceing the IC's. Double check every plug and connector, not just by visuale inspection, but by going and removing and replacing every connector. I have had problems like this in the pasy and have learned the hard way, everything is not as it looks. Good Luck
