JVC C-20710 TV 20" Does anyone know where to find the operation manual.
Television has sound, the channels and menus are all visible but no picture. it would appear to be locked, yet I"m not sure my aunt is 73 and retired and she wants it fixed so badly does anyone know where to find the operation manual, she seem to have misplaced hers.

the tv has a configaration that conveys the sets focus on both audio and video performance. full hd resolution of 1920-1080 pixels.
hdmi inputs allow connection of the generation of 1080p sources for the systems which offer 1080p outputs
However, I do have a suggestion. You can hook up a vcr to your tv, then put the tv on channel 3 or 4 (whichever the vcr is set for) and change the channels through your vcr. You have to have the cable go first to your vcr and then out to the tv.
Sounds like U have an antenna or feeder problem. Get it checked out/ check it out. If in a strong signal area, try a simple indoor antenna for comparison. If in a marginal reception area, it could be your antenna is inadequate.
If you mean that you get a black box, with a little of the picture visible around the edges, then your closed captions are on and set to TEXT. This puts a black box on the screen about 10 seconds after changing the channel. Go into the menu and turn off the closed captions and the picture will be back to normal.
This sounds like a microprocessor controller problem?? Try to reset the tv by unplugging overnight and starting fresh in the am. If it will go in av then your all set BVut if it dosent go into the menu to see if theres any kind of lockout in the set up for the av. If not then youll have to have the set looked at by a pro.
