Insert sim

A SIM card in a cell phone or smart phone is a small plastic card with circuits on it. This card holds the user's account information, which allows the cell phone service network to find and connect to the phone. It also contains the user's directory and such other stored data as photos, files and text messages. A rejected SIM card will cause the phone to malfunction. This can occur if the card is damaged, wet, dirty or dislodged.

1.Locate the SIM card on the phone. Generally the card is stored under the battery. You'll probably have to remove the back cover before you can slide out the battery. Be sure the phone is turned off before doing this.
2.Remove the battery and look for the SIM card. It is usually white or yellow with circuitry printed on it. Sometimes it has text on it as well. The card may be as small as a thumbnail.
3.Remove the SIM card, which is usually held in place by a metal clip. To unlock the clip, lift it up or slide it up or down. Gently lift or slide the SIM card up and out of the clip. You may need a pair of tweezers.
4.Blow around the area where the SIM card had been lodged to disperse any dirt or dust.
5.Look for any water, dirt or grime that may have gotten into the phone or on the SIM card. Use a soft cloth to gently wipe the SIM card, the battery and the area around the SIM card compartment. Make sure to use a fine cloth that will not tear or catch on circuitry and other metal parts.
6.Inspect the SIM card for damage such as cracks. If the SIM card appears undamaged, firmly return it to its home in the clip. The SIM card circuitry should be face down so that it is touching the metal connectors on the phone. Slide the clip back into place to secure the SIM card.
7.Replace the battery and any casing. Turn the phone on. If the SIM card has been cleaned and properly placed back into the phone, it should function properly.
8.Contact your cell phone service provider if the SIM card is still rejected. You may need to replace it.

I hope you find it very helpful.

Where is the sim card and how to get it out

Depending on the model, and manufacturer the SIM is generally located under the battery.

To access the battery, open the back panel, take out the battery. You will see a silver metal shaped sim card cover, lift/slide it and place your sim card.

Be sure to read your phone manual as this always shows how to insert the sim.

How can i remove my sim card to my nokia c7?

The SIM card is located beneath the battery pack. You must release the back cover latch, lift it up, remove the battery pack, and, then, access the SIM card slot. Please, refer to pages #8 and #9 of your phone's user guide (which you can download from this location, in case you happen to miss it) for further details.
Hope you are able to sort your problems out soon.
Anyway, please, let me know if I can help you any further.
Regards, Carlos

How do I remove the Sim card from a Motorola Razr V3M cell phone?

Hi,

it is very easy to remove.just use your finger to open the back cover of the phone, remove the battery close to where the battery terminal is, and slide out the Sim card out.

But if you can not remove the Sim card with you finger, just get s screw on something you can use to pull the back cover and the battery out, then you can get access to your Sim card.

Good luck to you.

hello, hope these instructions help: 1. To expose the SIM card slot, peel back the bumper from the top-left edge of the device. (fig 1) 2. Insert the SIM into the slot with the gold contacts facing forward and the cut corner facing out. (fig 2) 3. When you release the SIM, make sure it is locked into position behind the catch so it will not spring out. 4. Replace the bumper and turn on the device. Any problems, let me know :) Si
