Download a program called psp max media, and i use limewire, but you dont have to, then have that and limewire both open, viewing both, plug the usb cable in the computer, and wait for it to find whadrive your psp is on. Then once a file is complete drag it to either Music,Video, or Picture depending what kind of file it is

How to download games

Hi. You can play games in psp by umd or by downloading games and transfer it to your memory card. You can try this link and search for the games you would like to play. After your done choosing the game you like to play download it and if it is done downloading you can transfer the file to your memory card. Do it by connecting your psp to your computer open the drive specified for your psp and copy the file to the ISO folder.
Hope this helps. Have a nice day!

How can i downgrade my ver 6.10 software psp????

Hello there

Download MPH Downgrader and Firmware version you want(e.g 1.50) to the Windows-based computer. Connect the PSP Slim to the computer's USB port using the USB connector. Transfer the two programs to the main folder of the PSP Slim. Disconnect the PSP Slim from the computer's USB hub when the transfer is complete.

Turn on the PSP Slim. Go to the Settings/USB Connection in the Home menu and select the EBOOT.PBP file in the PSP\GAME\UPDATE update folder. Extract the MPH Downgrader zip file to the root folder of the PSP. Click OK using the X button if you are prompted that this will replace some files.

Go to Photo/Memory Stick in the Home menu. Wait as the screen goes black and numbers appear. Wait two minutes and then press and hold the power switch until the PSP Slim turns off. Release the power switch.

Wait as the PSP Slim turns on and reboots. Go to Game/Memory Stick in the Home menu and select PSPS Update version 1.50. Press the X button to start the update.

Wait as the update finishes and presents an error message. Press the O button to restart the PSP.

I want to know how to play music or view images or videos in sony psp3004, is it we need a converter of any other software pls help, which software would be the best if needed to download

You will need to copy the files to your memory card into a special folder.

Music -- needs to be MP3 or WMA. If you want to play WMA, you need to be able to connect to the internet to enable WMA playback on the PSP. You only need to do this once.

images -- no special file type needed.

Videos -- you have to convert these to MP4. The best software I've found to do this is ImToo at the following site: http://www.imtoo.com/psp-video-converter.html

Cant download music

try NOT going through media player as it tries to convert any audio. keep your files as mp3. preferably stored in "My music" file on your computer. then when you connect your psp via USB go to "open folder to view files" then open psp/music file. leave it open and open a "My computer" window my documents/my music, then just click and drag to psp/music file.

I have a psp slim. Ive transfered music, photos, video clips etc to the memory card/psp before by way of usb cord(about a month or so ago was the last time i used it) Now when i try to transfer anything,...

you need to update your system software by connecting it wirelessly to a network.

make sure they are MP3 files and they are put in the right folders... via USB on XP your computer it is possibley k: drive?
put mp3s in the music file...regular audiofiles will not play,...depending on your system software WMP files may not player either.

or your SD card maybe corrupt try formating it?

Going online

uhh, i don't want to sound sarcastic by this - but the PSP is NOT designed to go online with a USB cable.

The USB cable is used to transfer files to and from the PSP console. You can use it for charging the PSP (Slim) if you don't have a charger with you handy.

Other than that, you can't use the USB cable for anything else.

Sony psp

1) Plug The USB Cable To Both The PC And PsP. 2) In The 1st Menu On Your PsP, Enable The USB Connection. 3) Go To My Computer, And You Will See A Folder Under Removable Storage, (For The PsP) Open That, Open The Folder PSP, and create a folder called "MUSIC" 4) Copy Your Music To That Folder. It Goes the same for a card reader aswell, because your PSP acts as a memory card reader. and you can also put movies in the video file but the video format must be mp4
