Question about Sony Ericsson W910i Cellular Phone

Saving messages to memory card.

When i save my messages,usually jokes,they are saved in the Saved Messages section but i get message saying 65% of sim card full. I have selected Save To Memory Card but they keep going onto sim card and i have to keep deleting them to make room for more.I have checked the manual and tried moving them but keep getting Cannot Move Messages.At my wits end please can you help.

    Thanks for your help,I don't see why they could not explain that in the manual.

Well sms can not be saved to the memory card unless they are msgs that came from your service provider and not any friends.

Transfer messages on memory card


No you cannot transfer your messages to memory card.
First 30 messages ( if the sim is of 32K) are saved in Sim, And rest 500 messages are saved in Phone.

Everytime i send a message it always says message


While it is possible that your message memory may indeed be full that may not be the case. Go to settings and see whether by default your messages are being saved in your SIM memory or your phone memory.The SIM memory is severly restricted, usually not more than 30-40 messages, that may be the reason that message keeps popping up.

Want to move messages from inbox to memory card in 3110


Hi, As you want to move the messages from Inbox to Memory card, Moving to Memory card is not possible because messages are either saved in the Handset memory or in your SIM memory.You can save music files, Pictures etc but messages cannot be saved. Thank you for using Fixya

You probaby dont have enough memory on your card or your messages are being automatically saved to your SIM which i think you can change by going to messages options

How do you save messages to the phone memory

Saving messages on the K88i


Go to message setting and set ur message memory to memory card.And ur done

Text messages


They stay on your phone but you will have to delete some eventually, otherwise your phone memory will be too full to operate.
