Reset Factory Defaults

How do I reset my Canon Imagerunner 2800 copier/fax/scanner/printer back to factory defaults? The machine is password protected and the person that set the password is no longer here so we have no way of resetting. Please HELP!!!

I fixed the problem with no help from your service....as a matter of fact, I mailed the guy back that "helped" me online and heard nothing from him either.

Good thing Im resourceful.......$15 WASTED!

I have replaced my photoconductor in my Lexmark x464 and I still have a warning notification comming on. How do I reset it?


Try:

To restore factory defaults:

1. POR the machine into Configuration Mode.

2. Use the down navigation button to scroll to the RESTORE

FACTORY DEFAULTS item on the menu.

3. Press Select. The machine performs a POR.

4. The RESTORE FACTORY DEFAULTS sets the MFP non critical

parameters back to the factory settings.

Note: Some settings are not affected: panel language, energy
conserve, paper prompts, registration margins, and page count.

you need to enter to service mode * 2&8 simultaniously, then * after that select copier then press function then clear then press dc con then press OK after that turn off & on the machine

How to reboot the ricoh aficio 1515mf. i could not use as all were password protected. how to erase all the password and memory??


To clear the memory (reboot) the RICOH AFICIO you will have to send it to the factory where they will wipe the memory and restore the machine to its defaults.

How to reset factory setting for Canon ir3300 copier?


Could try MMI clear to reset user settings to factory default. In Service Mode go to Copier > Function > Clear > MMI Then press ok.
To get into Service Mode Additional Functions (has * on it) > 2, 8 > Additional Functions.

Printer Password


If you reset the network card on the 8008 back to factory defaults it will reset the web password back to 'sysadm'
To reset factory defaults power the pritner on holding down CLEAR, keep CLEAR held down whilst you power the printer ON, keep the clear button held down untill you see RESETT on the display.

Resetting factory defaults will reset all network settings EXCEPT - IP, Sub net and Gateway address
