Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Ctrl + Alt + Del usually works if you are using windows. Ctrl + Alt + Backspace over and over again until the computer reboots if you are using Unix.

Put computer on hibernate, when came back and started I get this message, but when I arrow to any of the options it gives me, nothing happens

That's a nuisance isn't it? At least it came back from hibernation! Windows is infamous for doing this when it's loaded up memory with applications and buffers just so; usually it eventually responds to ctrl-alt-del by waking up, showing the task control console, etc. Sometimes though, it's a loose videocard or a new driver that needs to be remedied. If you're on another OS, maybe drop a little more info.

I have a COMPAQ computer and it went into hibernation and I cannot get it to come back on. What do I do?

Please press the Alt-Ctrl-Del buttons simultaneously to resume.

Also, try the power button to get the Notebook out of the Hibernation.

The computer will boot up and get you back to the state where you were last time and allow you to continue.

This will resolve the issue you are facing.
I will look forward to your feedback.

Ctrl + Alt+Del

Hi

is it a usb keyboard or a ps2(round connector) keyboard? the problem is most likely that due to the computer not having started up properly the keyboard is not properly configured / installed by windows.

to get rid of this problem, you need the old type of keyboard, turn off the computer, and plug in a keyboard to the ps2 connector.

green one is for the mouse, the other is for the keyboard, plug in a keyboard, then turn the computer on, you should be able to press CTRL+ALT +DEL now and ones you sign in to the computer it should install the usb keyboard and it should work from now on, just make sure the keyboard is not disconnected or port changed when the power is off from the computer that cause the configuration loss.

I'm unable to log on to my laptop. when I turn on my computer and click on the icon with my name nothing happens

try pressing
ctrl+alt+del (two times) you would enter a screen where you are asked to enter your user name and password
just enter those and you would be in
if you dont have a password leave it blank

then do a system restore.
hope this works and yuor computer would go in a normal state
