    I turn on the dell axim and it stays on the blue screen. If I take out the battery and do a soft reset it wants me to dump all the memory or push the email button to  cancel the operation

    I have the same problem. It is for a Dell Axim, which is a PDA, so the previous solution will not work (no F8 key).

This is usually called the "Blue Screen of Death" and the system tries to dump memory

See if you can Read any of the text which may detail the error

Try starting it in safe mode by tapping F8 every few seconds during startup

If it starts post back and i'll tell you how to use system restore

If it still fails then call in an Engineer

Problem dell x50v {align screen}

A problem I have seen countless times on the DELL pocket PCs. Check the corners of where the touchscreen go UNDERNEATH the plastic housing. Sometimes when dust or debris collect here, your touchscreen has a difficult time calibrating.

X50v hardware problem I think

Take out battery, put cover back on. Plug to cradle and turn on. Then do soft reset while on the cradle working. After, turn off , remove from cradle and install battery. Turn on with battery only.
