Question about Proview PL926WBi 19" LCD Monitor
Ok my preview PL926WBi did the white screen thing and my dad took it to a friend and they replaces alot of dead capacitors but forgot to hook up the ground wire when putting it back together and there was a pop sound when turning on the monitor and they took it apart and didnt find what popped does anyone have any ideas what popped inside and if theres a chance to fix it?
I have the same problem when i power on the same monitor that you have it goes white what is the problem?
Is there a repair manual which tells you how to fix it or a service manual for taking it apart?
Call me 253-468-5903 to help Thank you

The ground wire may have touched something it shouldn't have. That may
have made the pop, but usually you will see where is made contact by a
burn or arc mark.
If you get real lucky and depending on what it touch (that is if this is what happenned) you may have just blown out the main fuse.
It is black and round (about 3/8" in diameter and about that height.
It is marked 3.15A.
Another POP could have been a capacitor installed in backwards ??
White screen thing, however, is usually not caused by inverter or power board issues like capacitors !!
